Our history
La Voile Rouge was founded in 1963 by Paul Tomaselli, with his mother in the kitchen. This emblematic place quickly became the symbol of the "excess" of the 60s and 70s, continuing its reign until the mid-2010s. Located in Saint-Tropez, on the beaches of Ramatuelle, the Voile Rouge was much more than just a beach club: it was the scene of legendary parties and debauchery, attracting the world’s greatest celebrities.
From movie stars to rock stars, everyone came to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this place where everything seemed possible. The evenings were marked by total freedom, boundless exuberance and unbridled creativity. Improvised shows, dancers setting the tables on fire, and parties lasting until dawn made every night at La Voile Rouge an unforgettable experience.
Despite numerous attempts to recreate its atmosphere, the magic of the Red Sail remained unmatched. This sanctuary of Tropezian hedonism finally closed its doors in 2012, leaving behind a living legend. The memories of nights spent under the stars, lulled by the sound of the waves and the catchy music, continue to resonate in the memories of those who had the chance to live them.
